Malpighi Saporoso Balsamic Limited Trio Edition

Description

Saporoso is our Balsamic Vinegar of Modena Condiment, made from cooked must of home-grown Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes, which are cultivated on our Tenuta del Cigno farm just outside Modena.
Saporoso matures slowly and improves inside our 500 oak barriques, each with a capacity of 220 litres, until it reaches the full-richness that makes it so versatile in the kitchen. The oak wood, in particular, is characterised by its hardness and resistance to the elements, which is why it guarantees excellent ageing.

In this special trio edition:

• 1 x Saporoso Platinum – 100 ml. With unique and precious organoleptic characteristics and a special, serially numbered label. The 8-year ageing in small oak barrels is followed by a further 2 years in small mulberry barrels. This double ageing in barrels of different woods characterises the product with a special bouquet of aromas and fragrances with a density of 1.35.
• 1 xf Saporoso – 100 ml. Aged for at least 6 years in fine oak barrels. Soft, full-bodied and very versatile in cooking, density 1.30.
• 1 package of Saporoso Riserva 100 ml. Aged for at least 8 years in fine oak barrels. Bittersweet, velvety, intense taste and high density (1.34).

Each Saporoso is special and so versatile in cooking: what changes is the period of ageing that makes it denser and more refined.

Because of its lightness, each version of Saporoso can be used: on all kinds of vegetables, cooked raw or grilled, on roasts and game.
