Get ready for a flavour-packed fiesta! Join Chef Luis Cabrera, an internationally awarded Mexican chef, for a fun and fast-paced cooking class at Gault’s Deli on Saturday, 18th of April at 6PM

In this lively two-hour, hands-on session, Chef Luis will show you how to create authentic Mexican dishes that are bursting with colour and taste! You’ll be learning how to make traditional Guacamole and roasted tomatillo salsa, plus favourites like flute tacos, Mexican street food plus Margarita making demonstration.

Whether you’re a confident cook or just starting out, this class is designed to help you master quick, delicious Mexican meals you’ll want to recreate again and again. To top it all off, you’ll sit down at the end to enjoy your creations together — dinner sorted!

Chef Bio: Chef Luis Cabrera, born in Mexico City and raised in Tequila, Jalisco, México, is a culinary master with a remarkable journey.
From bustling México City to enchanting Venice, from Sydney’s metropolis to New Zealand’s serene landscapes, Chef Luis has made his mark on the global culinary scene. With experience spanning top restaurants and hotels in Boston, Dublin, Verona, and beyond, he has held diverse roles from Chef Instructor to Executive Head Chef. Chef Luis has shared his expertise at prestigious culinary institutions in México and Italy and earned accolades such as a Silver Medal at the Culinary Olympics in Germany in 2008.
Throughout his career, he has delighted the palates of ambassadors, presidents, and celebrities, including Barack Obama, Pearl Jam, and Gordon Ramsay. In New Zealand, Chef Luis and his wife Cecilia introduced the flavours of Latin America through Besos Latinos, the country’s first authentic Latin American Gourmet restaurant, and Ceviche Bar by Besos Latinos.
In 2022, he launched Besos Margarita, a globally acclaimed ready-to-serve margarita that has won seven international awards, including the Triple Gold Medal at the Major League Spirits Awards in Michigan, 2023. Chef Luis Cabrera’s journey is a testament to his talent, passion, and commitment to crafting unforgettable culinary experiences.

With only ten seats available, this intimate class offers a truly hands-on experience. Please note, a minimum of eight participants is required for the session to go ahead.

Similar to concert tickets, our tickets are non-refundable but are transferable. If you find yourself unable to attend, feel free to pass your ticket on to someone else. However, please note that this transfer option is only applicable to this specific class.

In the unlikely event that Chef Luis Cabrera is unable to host the class due to illness, rest assured that your tickets will be fully refunded.
